it’s not about being right
from your opposite wrong
or the right to become right
in the first place (at all)
it’s not about keeping score
or deciding who’s to blame
or winning another argument
point by point (yet again)
at best i’m just a mirror
which helps to lead within
so you can get a view of self
before we even had a name
where truth persists far beyond
a word used to hurt or bind
and you can finally realize how
we’re really all the same.
