water music
filling my soul
with muted notes
rolling in darkly
from another
time and place.
heavy rain
falling
on a heavy day
that awaken images nearly
forgotten
like cave paintings
which dot the landscape
in acacus.
my sands of time
melt slowly away
beneath this unrelenting
rain.
