Surrender isn’t giving up,
It’s simply letting go.
And when you need to make that choice
Your soul will let you know.

And let God do the rest.
To try and force what’s meant to be
Or hold on to control
Will only cause impediments
And suffocate your soul.
The caterpillar trusts God’s plan
To help it reach the sky,
It doesn’t fret or try to force
And soon it’s flying high.
A seed that’s buried under snow
Knows spring won’t come too late,
It doesn’t check the calendar
It trusts God knows the date.
Surrender to your highest good,
It’s there inside your heart.
Ignite the passion found within,
For that’s the place to start.
Surrendering relationships,
That cause you pain, my friend
Can only lead to greater growth
And freedom in the end.
Surrender what’s not serving you,
You know the truth inside.
And when you do I promise you
More doors will open wide.
