(mostly) short poems on life and love

waiting for (a moment)

December 21, 2017 by Michael Guerin

seated. at rest
and (possibly?) waiting
(for a moment)
to be seduced
by the muse
(once again?)
who sets time
on edge.

stretched. each second
drawn (out)
and dissected
until the barest
shred of meaning
emerges
(once again?)
into your light
of reason.

satisfied.
as if some sign might
finally signify
a pending arrival
(unlike godot?)
which shocks to life
(once again?)
creativity
into motion.
