(mostly) short poems on life and love

goodbye, my indigo

August 18, 2018 by Michael Guerin

indigo fades into pale yellow
moment by moment,
degree by slightest degree —
and beneath an empty firmament
devoid of dreams
perhaps you’ll make your way
through another hollow day
wondering what it all
might mean.
